We Have So Much to Be Thankful for

Building a business, much like raising a child, can't be accurately described by any cliché, and there’s no one size fits all. Both experiences take us deeper inside ourselves than we thought possible. Both lead to a range of emotions—elation, confusion, overwhelm, and triumph.

While there’s really no secret to making child- and business-rearing easier, there has always been one way to lessen the load:

Through the support of a village.

Modern life has shifted us away from our strong networks of women, but we’re focused on bringing it back. Why? Because it’s impossible to achieve success without help and we’ve seen firsthand the power of small business owners working together to support one another.

Every day, we see women in our community supporting one another in small ways that result in big shifts. These women are offering advice, sharing their wisdom, creating referral networks, showing up at Boost events to get personalized help and guidance, and creating an unwavering network focused on building each other up. Each of these acts give business owners a confidence boost that helps them sustain the ups and downs of running a small business.

Today, we’ve asked our community to share why they’re thankful to have the Pepperlane community as they create businesses that bring them joy and fulfillment. Watch their heartfelt responses in the video above. We’ll be the first to admit that these videos made us tear up a bit!

And we are especially thankful for the amazing ladies who participated in this video! If you'd like to learn more about these incredible business owners, check out their profiles below:
