In our new 1:1 series, we talk to women who are full members in our Pepperlane community about their business and how they use Pepperlane to learn, grow and solve business challenges.
Tell us about your business
I launched my health coaching practice in 2019, focusing on women who are perimenopausal or in menopause, and helping them to align their lifestyle with the changes in their bodies, libido and happiness and health that come with middle-age. I like to say I help women go from hormone havoc to hormone harmony.
Have you always owned this business or what made you decide to start it?
I started my career as a teacher. Later, once I had children, I chose to transition into coaching women 1:1 and in small groups about mid-life changes and alternative approaches to menopause.
I love balancing taking care of my daughter and son, with owning my wellness coaching practice.
We like to say that everyone has a journey to Pepperlane. How do you use Pepperlane as a female entrepreneur balancing business with motherhood?
I rely heavily on Pepperlane. I attend all my monthly boosts (these are small group sessions where I can bring challenges and connect with other moms and walk away with 1 Simple Act I will commit to).
I go to a boost every month and have probably attended dozens of other learning events since I joined.
I personally love the member speed networking event as it helps me meet other moms who are business owners in the Pepperlane community.

What do you struggle with?
Pricing is sometimes a challenge. Finding the right package for my audience is key. I’m building a new product for groups of girlfriends and beta testing that as we speak.
How can someone best work with you and what is your core product offering?
My core offering is a 3-month 1:1 package with a mid-life woman in perimenopause, or early menopause. Here, I can offer a meaningful personalized experience and set my clients on the path to independent management or fewer check-ins and course corrections.
Where can clients learn more about you or purchase a package?
They can check out my profile on Pepperlane. It has a link to my website and other ways to get in touch.
