Conference emcee Heatherjean MacNeil will start the day. 

Heatherjean is a serial entrepreneur and mother of twins. Most recently she co-founded and scaled the Babson WIN Lab, a venture accelerator program that supports women founders to launch and scale high-impact ventures. Prior to WIN Lab she founded a women’s ethical fashion company, Proxy Apparel, where she built global partnerships with women cooperatives to produce fashion-forward, sustainable apparel and accessories sold to the U.S. market.

Trynka Shineman, CEO, Vistaprint will offer words of welcome.

When she joined Vistaprint in 2004, there were roughly 150 employees and revenue was less than $100 million. Now, with over 7,000 employees globally, over $1 billion in revenue, and over 17 million customers, Trynka prioritizes a company culture centered around the customer. She personally spends a lot of time with micro business owners in order to develop a deeper understanding of Vistaprint customers and shape the organization around their needs.

Pepperlane CEO and co-founder, Sharon Kan will talk about the impact one small step a day can have to truly change our lives.

A mother of two daughters, she has built 4 startups that were acquired by Oracle, Microsoft, Infor and Barnes & Noble. She co-founded WIN, the Women Innovating Now Lab at Babson college to help female entrepreneurs start their businesses. Over the course of her career, Sharon has mentored over 150 female CEOs and business owners.

Leslie Forde will lead attendees in celebrating the mission of Pepperlane.

In addition to working full-time in marketing and business development for an educational publisher AND starting Boston WIN, a professional development group for local Moms, Leslie is also a writer, active volunteer and advocates self-care for Moms from her website, Mom’s Hierarchy of Needs.
